European Horizons has traditionally assembled all chapters at an annual Fall Policy Convention to discuss the think-tank’s strategy to have a long-term impact on the European Project and transatlantic relations. We are excited to announce that due to the rapid expansion of our presence in Europe we will be holding two Fall Policy Conventions this year: one for our chapters in the United States and one for our chapters in Europe.
The Fall Policy Convention for American chapters will take place October 6-8 at the Edith Macy Conference Center in the gorgeous Hudson River Valley. Participants will be expected to arrive by 6pm Friday evening, and will be invited to stay through Saturday, as well as for optional events on Sunday.
The inaugural European Fall Policy Convention will take place at the European Academy Otzenhausen November 10-12. Participants will be expected to arrive by 5pm Friday evening, and the programming will conclude on Sunday at 12pm.
All chapter presidents will be contacted by the end of September with logistical information for attending their region’s event. While the American Fall Policy Convention is restricted to chapter executives, the European Fall Policy Convention may accommodate other members as well: those interested should contact their chapter executive or the European Regional Coordinator for further information.
In October 2015, the Fall Policy Convention hosted in Glen Cove, Long Island, passed the European Horizons’ Declaration of Principles.
